Successful Completion of the Freshers reception program of Spring 2023 of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology

It’s our great pleasure to inform you that the Department of Sociology and Anthropology has successfully organized the program of Fresher’s Reception  at Permanent Campus on 8th February, 2023. 

The chief guest of the program was the  Honourable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Golam Samdani Fakir and the chairperson of the program was Prof. Dr. Abul Hossain, chairman of the Sociology and Anthropology department. The faculty members were also presented there. The program coordinator and lecturer, Humayun Kabir, shared all major information with students about registration, class schedule, and so on. Along with the freshmen, the existing students from both city and permanent campus were also present there. On a small scale, a cultural program was held, which students attended spontaneously. At the end, the chairperson of the department of Sociology and Anthropology conveyed some remarks on the event. This program contributed to enhancing the solidarity and interaction among faculty members and students in the department.
